The Lutheran Center @ BSU

Where everyone is someone, and Jesus is LORD!

A photograph of the main entrance used at the Lutheran Center. We just want to say weclome! Welcome to our new web site, that is.

This is the perfect site if you are looking for information about The Lutheran Center, or if you want to donate to the TLC Fund.

We are a drop-in center where you can come hang out and play games like table tennis or solve a puzzle. If you are looking for a quiet place to study, the Drop-in Center is perfect. As always, snacks are available!

Contemporary Worship Service

Every Thursday evening you can attend our contemporary worship and communion. Guaranteed to restore balance and fire you up to face the challenges of life at Ball State.

After the service there is time for you to fellowship during dinner and games.

Bible Study

This spring, we will be looking at intersect culture; a place where faith and culture meet. Be prepared to learn a lot, as we dive in whole-heartedly with a wild abandon!

Lutheran Retreats

Twice a year, The Lutheran Center gathers with other Lutherans from around the Midwest. Once in the fall and spring, during the Lutheran Student Movement retreats. At which you can fellowship and worship with students from IU, Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan, etc. Both are a really great time and you will be disappointed if you miss them, so plan early.

During the Christmas season the National Retreat is held at varied sites around the nation during Christmas break. A perfect chance to commune with students from all over the nation.

"When I think of The Lutheran Center, I think of a place where my spiritual hunger is fed and where I encounter true grace. My growth in spiritual understanding is amazing to me. In The Lutheran Center's friendly atmosphere everyone is someone."

--Brent Weisman
